Natalie P. Mikolich


From the time she was six-years-old, Natalie has had an deep love for sports and as an adolescent and young adult, she aspired to be one of the best professional women’s tennis players in the world.  Natalie’s work ethic, determination, and dedication have always been a part of her everyday life, along with doing something that she is passionate about.  Combined with her competitive nature and perfectionism, Natalie has always strived to be the very best at whatever she did.

As a junior tennis player, Natalie was one of the top players in the United States.  Starting at the age of 13-years-old, she traveled all over the world with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Team where she won several international tennis tournaments in her junior career.  Natalie had always dreamed of playing on the women’s professional tennis tour, but after graduating high school, she instead decided to attend the University of Florida that was ranked #2 in the NCAA Division I Team Standings at the time.

At the University of Florida, Natalie was a part of the ’02-’03 Women’s Varsity Tennis Team that was undefeated in the season, winning both the SEC Conference Championships and the NCAA Division I Team Championships and finishing the year ranked #1 in the NCAA Division I Team Standings in 2003.  After accomplishing so many goals in tennis, Natalie decided to transfer to the University of Miami and focus on her education and career after college beginning in [read more]


It was as a student at the University of Miami that Natalie’s work ethic, drive, and determination carried over into her school work and studying, and where she double-majored in Public Relations and Psychology. Upon graduating, Natalie received a B.S. in Communication and finished in the top ten percent of her graduating class with a GPA above 3.8.

During her studies at the University of Miami, Natalie interned with SFX Tennis (one of the most prestigious sports agencies in the world later becoming known as Blue Entertainment Sports Television (BEST) and then Lagardere Unlimited) and the Andy Roddick Foundation. Directing all of the public relations efforts for the 2005 Andy Roddick Foundation Annual Charity Weekend, the Foundation raised over $1 million in 2005 which was their highest grossing annual event to-date.   Following her graduation from the University of Miami in 2006, Natalie continued to set her goals high, work hard and always strive to be the best at whatever she put her mind to.
In 2007, Natalie founded npm | pr inc. in order to start a business and do something that she is passionate about and loves almost as much as tennis. Since the inception of npm | pr Inc., Natalie has worked with and represented six world #1 ranked ATP and WTA Tour professional tennis players including Greatest Doubles Team of All-Time Bob & Mike Bryan, Andy Roddick, Justine Henin, Caroline Wozniacki and Victoria Azarenka. In addition to this, Natalie represented U.S. history-making 2012 Summer Olympics London Bronze Medalist Marlen Esparza for both marketing and publicity leading up to the London 2012 Summer Olympics including securing endorsements with CoverGirl, Nike, Coca-Cola and McDonalds along with 2014 CrossFit Games Winner and “Fittest Woman on Earth” Camille Leblanc-Bazinet.

Along with her work as a publicist in sports, fitness, health, beauty and luxury lifestyle, in the Summer of 2013 Natalie was appointed the Communications Manager for the Manhattan Sports Business Academy – a new leadership program for students and young professionals who want to gain invaluable experience in the sports industry. 

Inspired by her work with the Manhattan Sports Business Academy, Natalie launched blog site Sports Publicity Spin in the Fall of 2013 for aspiring sports business and public relations professionals to share another side of what goes on in the sports industry and the important role public relations has in it.

In January of 2014, Natalie was named to the “40 Under 40” Class of 2014 in Boca Life Magazine recognizing innovators, leaders and impact players who are shaping the Boca Raton community right now.  Following this in the Spring of 2014, Natalie co-hosted the first sports business networking event in South Florida followed by #SBWeek Miami 2015 that brought out aspiring sports business professionals and current industry executives from all of the major sports franchises and universities in the local community including the Miami-Dade Sports Commission, Miami HEAT, Miami Dolphins, Miami Marlins, Homestead-Miami Speedway, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and University of Miami. 

Currently, Natalie is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (the world’s largest and foremost organization of public relations professionals) Entertainment and Sports Section Executive Committee and the 2016 Chair-Elect and has an active role assisting the Committee with their on-going initiatives by helping practitioners develop public relations and management skills directly relevant to their industries.

In addition to this, Natalie works closely with the University of Miami and several of their programs and students including the University of Miami Entrepreneurs’ Association, the Sports Administration and Public Relations departments and UM PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America).

Through her work with the npm | pr clients and other initiatives, it has allowed Natalie to provide exceptional results for her clients and inspire others while enjoying what she does everyday.  At the end of the day, Natalie truly believes, “Do what you love; love what you do.”
